The Allegheny Hockey Association - HOME OF THE BADGERS - is celebrating its 20th Anniversary as an amateur youth hockey association.  We are an all volunteer, non-profit association which was organized in 1992.  

Our mission is based on the values and goals set forth by USA Hockey.  The core values of USA Hockey include sportsmanship, respect for individual, integrity, pursuit of excellence, enjoyment, loyalty, and teamwork. The philosophies and guidelines of USA Hockey are aimed at achieving programs which stimulate increased and equitable participation, improvement of skills, and which operate in a responsible environment for the conduct of youth hockey.  

Allegheny Hockey is committed to provide programs and opportunities for as many boys and girls who wish to participate in youth hockey.  We offer innovative programs to provide new players with entry into amateur ice hockey and to offer existing players an opportunity for continued development and growth.

Sunday, January 8, 2012 is the big day!!!

The Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey Team (PCHT) and the Allegheny  Hockey Association (AHA) coaches will play a benefit game. The Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey team’s roster is composed of a variety of both locally and nationally known sports figures, prominent business and community leaders, as well as, local media personalities all of whom have only one thing in mind, to help our local community while having some fun playing hockey. 

Rink doors open at 3:30 pm and the game will begin at 4:00. Please arrive early to purchase your tickets for the basket raffle and Penguins game ticket raffle. Food and drinks will be available at the Power Play Cafe snack bar.

Our league, the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League, is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.

We are proud to be a member of the PAHL, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the league and grow youth hockey in the Pittsburgh area.
